A trained reviewer reads your offer, contract, visa and receipts, checks them against official portals and tells you, in Bangla, what does not add up.
What the verifier must establish
- Contract names the same employer as the visa / permit
- Basic salary, hours and allowances are written down
- Visa or permit is genuine on the official portal
- Fees charged are within the government limit
- Agency RL number is valid on BMET's list
Recruiting agency office visit
Field visit in Bangladesh · about 3 days
A local verifier visits the agency at the address on its licence, photographs the signboard and licence, and confirms the people you dealt with work there.
What the verifier must establish
- Office exists at the address on the BMET licence
- Licence certificate displayed and RL number matches
- The named recruiter works for this agency
- Agency confirms the job order / demand letter
- Agency gives a written, itemised fee total
Employer verification call
Remote check · about 3 days
A verifier who speaks the local language finds the employer's number independently (not the one on your offer) and confirms the vacancy, salary and conditions.
What the verifier must establish
- Employer appears on an official company register
- Phone number found independently of the offer
- Employer confirms the vacancy exists
- Employer confirms salary and hours
- Employer confirms which agency it uses in Bangladesh
Employer site visit abroad

A vetted verifier who lives in the destination city goes to the employer's address, confirms the business is operating, and talks to the people there.
What the verifier must establish
- Business exists and is operating at the stated address
- Signage / trade licence matches the employer name
- Type of work matches the job offered
- Staff confirm the company is hiring for this role
- Nothing suggests the address is a shell or shared desk
Worksite & accommodation check
Field visit abroad · about 5 days
Everything in the site visit, plus the labour camp or housing: how many share a room, kitchen and washing facilities, and the commute to work.
What the verifier must establish
- Business exists and is operating at the stated address
- Accommodation exists at the stated location
- Occupancy and facilities match what was promised
- Transport to work is provided as promised
- Current workers report being paid on time
Visa & work-permit check
Remote check · about 24 hours
We check your visa or permit on the destination country's official portal together with you on a call, and explain what the record shows.
What the verifier must establish
- Visa / permit number found on the official portal
- Holder name and passport number match
- Visa type is employment, not visit / tourist
- Sponsor on the record matches the employer in the offer
- Visa is valid for the planned travel date
Flight ticket verification
Remote check · about 24 hours
We confirm with the airline that your ticket is issued, in your name, for the date and route on the itinerary — not just a held booking.
What the verifier must establish
- Airline finds the booking reference (PNR)
- Ticket number is issued, not just a reservation
- Passenger name matches the passport exactly
- Travel date is within visa validity
- Destination matches the visa country
Contract signing companion
Field visit in Bangladesh · about 3 days
A verifier comes with you (or your family) when you sign the contract or pay the agency, reads every page in Bangla, and makes sure you get receipts.
What the verifier must establish
- Contract read and explained in Bangla before signing
- Salary, hours and allowances match the promise
- Every payment has a stamped receipt
- Worker keeps a copy of the signed contract
- Passport stays with the worker or is receipted
Post-arrival welfare visit
Field visit abroad · about 7 days
With the worker's consent, a verifier meets them in the destination within the first months to check they are paid, housed and free to leave — and tells the family.
What the verifier must establish
- Worker met in person and consents
- Worker is being paid the contract salary
- Worker holds their own passport
- Living conditions match the contract
- Worker can contact family freely

What verifiers never do
- Pretend to be police, officials or journalists
- Enter private property without permission, or put themselves or anyone else at risk
- Pay, offer or accept money, gifts or favours
- Photograph people's faces without consent, or share anything outside Ovelit Verify
- Recommend agencies, sell jobs, or contact the worker's recruiter on their own initiative
How evidence is protected
- Photos are taken in the verifier app with time and location recorded
- Every file is fingerprinted (SHA-256) on upload, so changes are detectable
- Our QA team accepts or rejects each item before the report is released
- Customers see verifiers' first names only, to keep them safe in their own communities
